New SimCity BuildIt ideas, Techniques and tactics

SimCity BuildIt offers lots of challenges for gamers that like city-building and resource-collecting games. These guidelines, simcity buildit hack as well as methods will help growing city-organizers out by making sure their city’s starting foundation is as strong as you can.

Plan Ahead

Every time you set a residential zone at SimCity BuildIt, remember that when the zone isn’t covered by the necessary city services, the building will ultimately become abandoned and won’t create any tax revenue for you. This is bad.

You want to get the best coverage possible, so putting a fire station right in the corner of the town zone is not the smartest move, since the fire station’s area of effect will be overflowing into the deadzone, where you can not build.

Additionally, remember that factories and service buildings don’t need to be covered by firefighter/police/etc. protection. Notice the way in the image above I have positioned my two fire stations to quilt the residential places, but left the industrial structures (bottom left) nicely out of this zone.

Sell Your Excess

Your factories should always be working. As you perform, queue up some of the resources with the quicker turn-around, and before you leave the video game to go do something else, queue up some of the resources that take prolonged amounts of time to produce.

Occasionally thought bubbles pop up using a gold coin in them. If they’re popped, a town informant tells you of their capability to sell your funds for some coins. Unless the sale is actually weak, it is ideal to always sell the lower-tier resources, as you can always get them back in a few minutes using the factories anyway.

No Paving or Relocation Fees

There’s no expense to up-rooting a residential area and down it into another suitable location. Same goes factories and town services like government buildings and power plants. There’s also no charge for paving streets.

With this in mind, it can make getting out of a poorly-planned situation super simple: just extend the road out and fold it around, or simply drag it to some dead-end. Then move the buildings that you need to move out of the way into the freshly-paved road, then rotate the structures and out as necessary.

The Road to Nowhere Success

Dead-ends are your buddies in SimCity BuildIt.

Look at my town in the image above; notice that stretching out of the side of my town is a long road all by itself? In the end of the road is the sewer plants which maintain my town smelling fresh. They themselves smell awful, and that’s the reason why they are the way up there.

Because streets are free, there is not any reason why you need ton’t maintain these stinky buildings (factories included) away from the residents as possible. While their location comes with an area-of-effect stink-zone, their services provided don’t. Provided that they’re attached to the road, they’ll service the town, no matter how far out you put them. There exists many simcity buildit hack to meet your needs.

Increase With extreme caution

I discovered I was constantly getting access to more residential places than I could support. Sure I could plop down buildings alongside new streets…but I lacked the financing to support those homes with utilities and services.

After a bit, I realized that is ok, and I concentrated my efforts on improving what I already had.

Resist the urge to fill your whole map with buildings and streets. Focus on some of the map to begin with, or you will only be stretching your resources too thin and will have trouble making much progress. Bear in mind, the bigger the building is, the more people are able to dwell in it, and most of those folks will pay you taxes.
